Shankha Yoga, Bheri Yoga and Khadga Yoga
Shankha Yoga or Sankha Yoga
There are two types of combinations possible in formation of Shankha Yoga
1. When the lords of fifth house and sixth house in mutual kendras, and the lagna (ascendant) lord is strong.
2. The lords of the lagna and 10th house occupy a chara (or movable) sign and the ninth house lord is strong.
According to Phaladeepika, Shankha Yoga is produced when the lords of Kendra (quadrant) and Trikona (Trine) occupy together in an auspicious house.
The person with Shankha Yoga will be learned, kind hearted virtuous, blessed with wife and children. He will own land, property, enjoys prosperity. He will be well versed in scientific knowledge and scriptures. He will be long lived upto 80 years.
There are two variants in this yoga:
1. When all the planets occupy only among the lagna (ascendant), 2nd house, 7th house and 12th house and should the lord of the 9th house be strong. or
2. When Jupiter and Venus as lagna lords occupying a kendra house and should lord of the 9th house be strong then Bheri yoga is formed.
The person with Bheri yoga will be of noble heart, will be healthy, will have all the comforts and will live like a royal authority. If Jupiter is associated, he will have philosophical bent of mind and if Venus is associated then he will have materialistic attitude.
When there is a Parivartana or exchange of houses occurs between the lords of second house and ninth house with strong lagna lord occupying a kendra or a trikona house a powerful Khadga yoga is produced.
Effects of Khadga Yoga
The parivartana yoga happening with 2nd and 9th house is very auspicious and favours the native greatly. The person with Khadga yoga will be wealthy, skillful, blessed with knowledge and wisdom. He will be intelligent and well versed in sacred scriptures or scientific knowledge. One will be very knowledgeable in financial matters and this yoga will be good for financial bankers, advisors etc.
